ก็ตอนนั้นโลกมันหันขั้วโลกเหนือเข้าหาดวงอาทิตย์ ช่วงนั้น ที่ขั้วโลกเหนือก็จะมีแต่เวลากลางวัน ขั้วโลกใต้ก็จะมีแต่กลางคืน ช่วงนั้นเป็นช่วงที่ไทยกำลังหนาวอยู่ บรรยากาศมันก็คล้ายกลางวันเนี่่ยแหละ

I tried to post my answer yesterday but could not.
There are some natural occurings that Thai cannot experience. Snow falls, frozen lakes, static shock, soda can explodes in the trunk of a car, ice on the road, to name a few. Thailand is too close to the equator. The area far from the equator (close to the pole) will experience all of the above plus longer summer days and longer winter nights.
Let see if I can explain it to you.
Our earth rotates around itself. It takes one day to complete the revolution. We have daya and nights from this rotation. Our earth also turns around the sun. It takes one year for earth to go around the sun. We have year from this rotation.
If the earth axis of rotation around itself is perpendicular to the axis of rotation around the sun then every points on earth will see the sun for 12 hours and will not see the sun for 12 hours.
BUT, the axis of earth rotation around itself is NOT perpendicular to the axis of earth rotation around the sun. This TILT cause one pole (north or south) to be closer to the sun than the other pole for half of a year.
The observer on earth will see the sun orbit move pass the equator. The sun will move over the equator twice a year. The day that the sun is over the equator is called "Equinox". There are two "Equinoxes" in a year.
When the sun moves from south of the equator to north, the day is called "Vernal Equinox". Vernal Equinox is March 21 of every year. On equinox the day (sun up) and night (sun down) are equal (12 hours each).
When the sun moves from north of the equator to south, the day is call "Autumnal Equinox". Autumnal Equinox is September 23 of every year.
When does the sun appear to move to the northern (or southern) most? That is the middle of the two equinoxes, June 21 and December 22.
What happens when the sun is at the northern most position?
Some area around the north pole will see the sun for 24 hours.
The area around the south pole will not see the sun all day on June 21.
The four seasons, spring, summer, falls and winter is for Europe and North America. They are far from the equator to notice the changes.
Thailand does not have 4 seasons.
I joked with Americans when asked about seasons in Thailand. We have only 2 seasons, hot and very hot.

ลองนึกภาพว่าจับโลกตะแคง หันขั้วโลกเหนือเข้าหาดวงอาทิตย์ ไม่ว่าโลกหมุนยังไงขั้วโลกเหนือก็จะเห็นพระอาทิตย์อยู่บนหัวตลอดใช่มั้ยครับ ในขณะที่ขั้วโลกใต้หมุนยังไงก็ไม่เจอแสงอาทิตย์

ทีนี้ ในความจริงแล้วแกนโลกนั้นเอียงเพียงเล็กน้อย ขณะที่แกนเอียงเข้าหาดวงอาทิตย์ แถวขั้วโลกเหนือก็จะเห็นพระอาทิตย์วิ่งเรี่ยๆ ดินไปเรื่อยๆ

พี่หารูปมาประกอบคำอธิบายของคุณ Its me ครับ คิดว่าคงทำให้น้องเข้าใจกันมากขึ้น การอธิบายด้วยคำพูดอย่างเดียวบางทีก็เป็นเรื่องยากที่จะเข้าใจ รูปที่ 1 แสดงการโคจรรอบดวงอาทิตย์ของโลก แกนของโลกเราจะทำมุมเอียง 23.5 องศา กับแนวตั้ง และมีการหมุนรอบตัวเองและรอบดวงอาทิตย์ทำให้เกิดฤดูกาลต่างๆ จะสังเกตว่าช่วง มิถุนา-กรกฎา ขั้วโลกเหนือจะััหันเข้าหาดวงอาทิตย์ (รูปด้านขวามือ) ทำให้ซีกโลกด้านบนเหนือเส้นศูนย์สูตรมีช่วงกลางวันนานขึ้นทำให้เกิดฤดูร้อน

รูปที่ 2 แสดงภาพด้านข้าง เมื่อแสงอาทิตย์ตกกระทบโลกในช่วง มิถุนา-กรกฎา จะสังเกตว่าบริเวณขั้วโลกเหนือจะโดนแสงอาทิตย์ตลอด แม้ว่าจะมีการหมุนรอบตัวเอง (การหมุนตามแกน) ก็ไม่สามารถหลบพระอาทิตย์ได้พ้น บริเวณนี้เรียกว่า Arctic circle (บริเวณแกนด้านบนที่โดนแสงตลอด)

น่าจะเปลี่ยน perpendicular เป็น parallel ไหมคะ
